Let It Snow: A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle

Synopsis:
An ill-timed storm on Christmas Eve buries the residents of Gracetown under multiple feet of snow and causes quite a bit of chaos. One brave soul ventures out into the storm from her stranded train and sets off a chain of events that will change quite a few lives. Over the next three days one girl takes a risky shortcut with an adorable stranger, three friends set out to win a race to the Waffle House (and the hash brown spoils), and the fate of a teacup pig falls into the hands of a lovesick barista.
A trio of today's bestselling authors   John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle brings all the magic of the holidays to life in three hilarious and charming interconnected tales of love, romance, and kisses that will steal your breath away.

The book I'm reading is Let It Snow, three holiday romances. There are three parts in this book by three different authors, Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle. I have read the first holiday romance, The Jubilee Express, and it was amazing. This week I finished reading the second holiday romance, A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle by John Green. "A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle" is about three friends, Tobin, the Duke (whose real name is Angie), and JP who are binge-watching James Bond movies in Tobin's house. Their other friend, Keun who was working in the eve of Christmas, lured them into the Waffle House because of the group of cheerleaders and told them to bring a game of Twister. They had their own personal reasons for wanting to go to the Waffle House. One of which would be Tobin and JP wanting to see the cheerleaders while the Duke wanted a plate of steaming hot hash browns. On the way to the Waffle House, the trio's car crashed into a  snow bank near the restaurant, so they ditched the car and walked all way to the Waffle House. It was a really competitive adventure and a story whereas true love comes about. In addition "A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle" is a story of a trio who questions their sanity and where they find love.

A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle made me believe that I can fall for one of my closest guy friends without knowing it, which isn't really the best. This is a really interesting book and I can't wait to read the third holiday romance, The Patron Saint of Pigs. A new vocabulary word that I learned would be misogynists. Misogynists is a person prejudiced against women. The usage of the word in the book is,  And she said, "Oh Christ, forget it. Just come help me save these retarded misogynists from carbon-monoxide poisoning." Another word I learned is furtive. Furtive is attempting to avoid notice or attention. The usage of the word in the book is ...But I shouted it anyway, one last desperate and furtive cry.
